Staff should go to the nearest traffic light stops or pelican crossings to avoid stopping traffic themselves, if they walked on the road randomly. I have made these suggestions because if the staffs choose to cross freely without ensuring the road is safe and all children are not holding their hands, It could potentially cause accident, This could cause a potential child being hit by a car because they are not all holding their hands together and they could run into the road without correct supervision. Also the adults should double check if the roads are clear to cross. This is very important in helping them cross the road safely, staff should safely follow these steps this possibly will minimize hazards. I have made these precautions because if not followed it could cause a child being hit by a car.
The punishment is also given based on whether the driver is a new or learning driver or if the driver is fully licensed. Newer drivers are punished more severely as the need for education and correction is essential and urgent. However, this system targets every driver on the road and is used to promote safe driving practice towards any driver on the road. In conclusion, the Ontario Regulation 455/07 and the Demerit Points System are two important documents that every driver must follow in order to insure security on the road. Can you imagine what the roads would be without these regulations and system?
Ford Motor Company is equipping the ford explorer with a 3.7 liter v-6 rather than the standard 3.5 liter v-6 which will pick up an extra 14 horse power and 24lb-ft of torque. In order for an officer not to lose a suspect during a pursuit the California Highway Patrol requires that their vehicles hit 120 mph from a standing point within two miles. When in a high speed pursuit you don’t just need performance which will allow you to keep up, but the engine in the vehicle must be reliable when going full throttle. The California Highway Patrol requires that the vehicle must maintain an open throttle for a minimum of 25 miles without causing any damage to the vehicle. The new Ford Explore exceeds in not just performance but in being reliable when it’s most
Tom has always sped through red lights because the cops were never there to catch him or nothing bad has ever happened so why should he stop now? His luck came to a screeching stop one day when as the light turned red Tom ran the red light again like it was no big deal, but this time a little girl was crossing the street after seeing the motion light signaled her across. Since Tom thought that he was above the law and he will now appear in court not for a speeding ticket but for murder. If there was red light traffic cameras at all major intersections then Tom would have slowed down at the fear of getting a ticket. Traffic light cameras should be used at all major intersections to prevent common traffic violations.
The point of the speed limit is to give us a chance to stop and protect us and others. When you speed you have less chance of stopping if someone runs into a street etc. This is when minor laws become major laws and violent crimes. Our job as citizens is to obey laws minor or major, big or small. But if no one follows them then more and more won’t follow them.
I feel good about this new law that was passed to ticket those who disobey the speed limit. They deserve it because they should know how follow the rules that are set about certain areas that require a specific speed limit. I feel that those who don’t follow those speed limits shall be punished without a doubt. I feel that way simply because of the simple fact that the rules of the speeding are specifically stated. This event effects me in a variety of ways because it gives me one less thing to worry about when I’m around school or parking zones.
Sitz has to do with the police having the right to have checkpoints to catch people drinking and driving. The court reasoned that checkpoints are designed to eliminate immediate hazards posed by intoxicated drivers. This ruling may not seem substantially important to policing at first glance, but I feel keeping the public safe is a top priority for the police. These checkpoints enable the police to temporarily detain people who are, at that moment, a very serious threat to the public. The checkpoints have probably saved thousands of lives and this would not be possible if the police could only check for intoxication after someone has violated the law.
Like every other type of authority it has the need to be regulated. Red light camera tickets are not being regulated. They are just giving indiscriminant tickets with any concern for the circumstances leading up to what caused your tag to be on candid camera. I know I’m not the only person who has been approaching an intersection with a green light, and as soon as you pass that point where you know you won’t be able to stop in time the light changes to yellow. You aren’t a reckless driver you just couldn’t stop, yet you will receive a ticket as if you were a reckless driver, and due circumstances such as these the city is being taken to court for every red light camera ticket that is being issued.
Then the vehicle in the photograph’s information is verified and they ensure that the vehicle is truly in violation. A ticket is only issued if the evidence is clear” (Officer Ponton). These facts definitely help prove to those against red light cameras how they function and how officers and cities manage to be able to fine violators who have violated the red light signal by proceeding through the intersection. Another huge argument that goes against being for the use of red light cameras in intersections is the fact that individuals say they are being fined for violations and they are not the one driving the vehicle. Most of the time this involves parents loaning their teenagers and young adult children their vehicles for going to work and back or on a trip and they commit the violation. What their huge argument is, is the fact that they do not feel that they should be required to pay the fine because they were not operating the vehicle at the time.
1st draft of the essay There’ve been always an argument between the benefits of commuting with public transit and cars. The famous saying, “Haste makes waste” makes this topic very clear. As America is a commuter culture, people need to find the most beneficial way to commute. According to the article “The Bus, a Modern Panacea” by Lester Detroit, student should take the bus more seriously because it could solve many individual, local and global problems. The author states that commuting with public transit has more benefits than driving a car each day to school.
