The Equality Act 2010 ensures that everyone is treated equally for example if in a work setting such as a school it will ensure that all staff regardless of their sex receives the same pay depending on their job role and responsibilities. Care providers will have to follow The Equality Act 2010; they can do this in a number of ways such as creating a set of policies and procedures that the staff will have to follow.
