My Story I have always wanted to return to school but never got around to it until recently. There are so many reasons why I returned to school but this essay would become a book and I would be typing for weeks. There were many reasons I decided to go back to school. One main reason is the fact that getting my degree is one of the major personal goals I set for myself and not accomplishing this goal would mean failure to me. The second reason I felt returning to school to be so essential was so my family may become more financially stable. The third reason I decided to return to school is so that my children will learn from my example that school is essential to a successful life and very nurturing to ones soul. Returning to school when you have children can be very difficult, especially when you have four ranging from ages 14 all the way down to two. My decision to return to school was probably one of the hardest things I have ever done. I have the most wonderful children in the world. They are the most important part of my life and a big reason I wanted to return to school, but they are also the reason I felt was so difficult to go back. It is very hard being a full time mom and I work a full time job all while going to school. I have to make sure their homework gets done, dinner gets cooked, clothes get washed, kids get washed and clean up afterwards. I knew before returning to school that it would be hard to accomplish everything but somehow I will find the time to be a great mother as well as a good student. I live paycheck to paycheck to paycheck and I want more for my children and myself. By returning to school, I am able to show my children that it is never too late to go after your dreams. The only thing stopping you is yourself. I want to be an example for my children, so they will see how important a college education is. My children are not
