Responsible business or business responsibility is often known as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Corporate Responsibility (CR). Throughout the world, CSR has many definitions with some describing it as a more philanthropic activity. The definition used in the World Business Council for Sustainable Development publication "Making Good Business Sense" by Lord Holme and Richard Watts is perhaps one of the most widely used and accepted: Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large. Responsible business or the term often used ‘CSR’ include various strategies, such as giving a portion of company's proceeds to nonprofit organizations or giving away a product or service to a worthy recipient for every sale made. Here are several types of social responsibility that businesses are practicing. One primary focus of responsible business is the environment. No matter it concerns with giving money or time, businesses have a lot of resources that can benefit charities and local community programs. Furthermore,the term responsible business will be clearly understand through some instances. For example, Starbucks has created its C.A.F.E. Practices guidelines, which are designed to ensure the company sources sustainably grown and processed coffee by evaluating the economic, social and environmental aspects of coffee production. Tom's Shoes, another notable example of a company with CSR at its core, donates one pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair a customer purchases.Indeed, it leads to a win-win situation by undertaking socially responsible
