In psychology theories are formed about mind, human behavior, and the brain. Research proves or disproves these theories with the application of experiments, and statistics aids in the determination of validation of the results, and whether or not they are significant based on probability. The discipline embraces all aspects of the human experience — from the functions of the brain to the actions of nations, from child development to care for the aged.
