Good communication involves speaking clearly, using the appropriate language/body language and maintaining eye contact. It also involves taking notice of what someone is saying to you and being able to use the personal information they have shared with you to talk about next time. It is much easier to approach somebody with a problem if you have already established communication with them. It is also important to be considerate towards others and understand that everyone of us have different things going on and if someone is having an off day then remember they are just human. When speaking to a child you may need to change the type of language you use, more simple words and shorter sentences.

Accenting: Accent spoken words with body language such as gestures.

Stereotypes can act as codes sometimes; it allows someone to pick up on something faster. This normally will take place by sticking to a gender, sex, race, and maybe some type of occupation. The stereotype the media uses may also be caused due to some type of prejudice. I believe the media is encouraging people to tolerant diversity and to accept it in to their everyday life.
