While science tries to prove the existence of different things in the modern world through experiments and research, Religion on the other hand provides a more theoretical approach based upon faith and believes. It is also worth noting that some of the modern cultures are purely based on religion. There are about 12 religious backgrounds in the world today with the most predominant being Christianity and Islam. In the same way religion brings people together into organized communities, it could also bring differences among the people especially where there religion is different. All things considered, religion impacts the society both positively and negatively. How religion really impacts the modern society Various arguments have been put forward some in favor of religion’s impact on the modern community while others in favor of science. Those in favor of science argue that, the world as it is today is as a result of science and not religion. Most of the developments are science based and proven. Technology has gone to great heights including but not limited to scientific methods of life creation and support thereby challenging the role and scopes of religion. Moreover, arguments have been put forward indicating that technological discoveries and advancements in the modern word have made the modern world more comfortable, something religion has not achieved. In my opinion, this should not be the case. Technology exists on the pillars of religion. Religion sites that we alongside all that we see, were all created by an almighty being.
