My name is Major Blueberry Muffin from the planet of Dunkin Donuts. I have been sent to earth to determine if it is a religious planet. Religion is very important to my people because our Governmental Structure is in line with the astronomy of the Great Bright Light and the lesser lights. One Earth this Great Bright Light called the Sun/Moon and the lesser lights are called stars. My Superiors, General Glazed, General Powered and General Chocolate are awaiting my report. To ensure that I was setting the proper criteria to evaluate religion with on Earth I used my intergalactic communicator to glean earthling’s definition of religion. I was connected to something that they call the internet and it gave the definition of religion as “a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, specifically when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs. 2. A specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects. 3. The body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices. “. I will use these criteria to evaluate if earth is a religious planet by using their definition as a mersaruing stick. Now to the first item I have observed set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe are covered differently in different religions. Earthlings have a multitude of religions and each religion gives a different explanation on the the cause nature and purpose of the universe. Some religions believe the there is one God and others believe there are a multitude of gods.
