In addition, health assessment, nursing types, patient care, and child and infant care are common nursing program courses. These courses will create a need for a lot of time dedicated to studying and completing assignments. Along with the course requirements, students will be required to spend time completing clinicals. Clinicals are designated times students spend working in hospitals, NICU’s (Neonatal Intensive Care Units), and well-newborn nurseries. Students are supervised and evaluated by licensed nurses while completing clinicals.
Prejudice was a good topic to talk about and to be recognized, and Battle Royal fit the toll perfectly. I had the idea of prejudice, but I was able to elaborate on it more with the help of my classmates and professor. I would also like to acknowledge and thank my friend Christopher Martin for reading over my paper and giving helpful insights. I always find that a peer knows how to understand what one is trying to say or help to make sense of it. He offered a lot of help and was willing to make notes on my paper to attempt at helping me make my paper the best it could possibly be.
Since the way I approach my research it helps cover a lot of ground in limited amount of time giving me time to focus on other issues in my life like work and my kids. I am also able to do multiple assignments in a short amount of time so that I can finish them on time, hand them in and receive a good grade on the assignment. The way COMM 150 has affected the way I think about academic integrity and giving the proper credit to the ideas of others is that those people are helping me by publishing their work, so they deserve the credit for doing the hard labor that I did not have to do. What I mean by that is if I put in the time and hard work to put together something and someone else used my work and did not acknowledge me as being a help source I would get frustrated and upset. So I have no problem giving credit to where credit is due.
Promoting Interdisciplinary Care In order to provide Mrs. R. with the proper education and prenatal care Mrs. W. must delegate educational opportunities to the team on staff at the clinic. To begin you need set up a meeting with Mrs. W. to discuss the case and delegation. As a new supervisor you must establish a rapport with Mrs. W. so that a productive conversation can be accomplished. You must set up with each part of the team the priorities with clear communication (Ranahan. 2011).
(Einon, 2012) To have a group with any level of success, each person involved needs to play a part and collaborate effectively. In our group 1, most of us were involved from the start of the assignment. As a group we shared ideas back and forth and respected each other’s opinions and ideas. Sarah T and Sarah E set times that the group was to respond to questions by. By having deadlines set like this, it made everyone accountable and able to have their information or opinion written up in the wiki so we were able to move onto the next stage in a timely manner.
Question One: What factors do you think contributed to the level of success your group achieved? Communication was key to the success of Group 1. From the outset discussions within the group about our individual strengths, weaknesses, availability, and a time frame for when we wanted to achieve aspects of our assessment were clear and well discussed. I had suggested to the group on the 5/8/14 it would be great if we could have subtopics and themes locked in by that week ending we could go onto discussing who would do what. The Piece it together activity cemented our collaboration commitment and was a great way to get us all together.

My field experience with William Brooks was small, but it opened my eyes to all the possibilities. One problem I saw was that technology needs to be adapted to the disabled person. Fitting their needs requires time to research. Trials and adjustments need to happen along the way. Internet helped William to enjoy studying and to focus.
There are many reasons why this arrangement works for some students. For instance, a student may have other responsibilities that make it difficult to attend physically. Students have all day to get things done. Giving the best you can at everything is important due to the testing and grade reoccurrence when in college. As mentioned before, flexibility is one of the most important highlights of an online education.
In this essay, I will reflect about my collaborative learning abilities and see how I’ve changed and can improve my group learning. PBL is a group session of 8-9 students and a facilitator, where the students work together to identify learning objectives in a given scenario. The reason I will focus on group learning specifically in PBL is due to my first PBL professionalism judgement. Despite being described as an “active an enthusiastic group member”, both generally positive things, my weakness to try impart all information learned, therefore talking over others and interrupting, led to a borderline grade.2 Without an intention to do this, my over-enthusiasm led to me sometimes being distracted from the whole group topic, leading to small conversations with the person next to me. In hindsight, this is an action which appears arrogant and rude, and may make the person talking at that moment to the group lose confidence.
