February 3, 2009 ------------------------------------------------- LASARE3 S13 Reflection on Retreat The retreat happened last Friday and Saturday (Jan. 30-31, 2009) at Capuchin Retreat Center at Lipa Batangas was a total fun and a good reformation of my individuality. I knew at the very first that the very relevance of this activity is to bring us Lasallians into a person that will realize our purpose in life offering our calling to ourselves, to our country, and especially to God. This is why I was curious about how will this activity transform me as to what God wants me to be. At that same day, I was actually feeling not really happy because of what you so called “family problem” although I was feeling a little bit excited with this activity because it is outdoor and overnight. That retreat was actually the very first retreat I have attended to that is why I cannot compare it to other retreats unlike my fellow classmates who have attended when they were in high school. As I have seen the place, the very first thing that came into my mind was, “This will be a perfect place for me to rest my heart and mind.” The place was perfect to have silence for a moment to have a peace of mind. It was a good chance for us to at least give time to rest our body, soul, and mind. It was the nicest activity I have ever had in my life. Being with my closest friends even added some spice to it. I suggest that other retreatants should go with their group of friends because it would make them feel more comfortable especially as they start sharing their lives. It is not required however, it would help you more to speak your heart
