It was worth every question and worksheet to where I am now. I have had a great year and was faced with many challenges but all in all I did a pretty good job and improved all my English skills hugely. I’ve always been a good reader through school but even my reading skills improved this year. We read a selection of great books that have helped me understand big concepts. I felt that Night by Elsie Wesile and Anthem by Alice Hoffman should be taught next year because they were the most interesting and had the most impact on me as the reader.
Looking back on my English experience here at Torrance High I believe I have learned a lot. In my last year at middle school they had us pick our scheduled for the next year at Torrance High, I decided to go into the honors program for English( it was one of my stronger subjects). I got I think the best English 1 teacher in the school. Mr. Duvall taught me a better way to organize the information I had read. I got a B first semester.
It's true, I sometimes wonder how my life would be if I'd never fallen so deep for "the beautiful game." Most likely, I'd be Dead somewhere and I'm not hyperbolizing when I say so either. I'm to the point where even if it didn't, I'd still want soccer to be a part of my life in general but having accomplished this much in such few years Is something I'll cherish. From scoring so many goals In my home township league to top scorer for the 5th best travel team in the state of New Jersey; it can, what to me, be considered the ingenuity I've written about before. I spent a whole year in a public school called Leuzinger. I spent my time building up my resume and grades so that once I tried again I would hands down have no problems. So mid-year my grades came out and I had received over a 3.6 GPA to make the Honor Roll. I would constantly see Serra in the newspaper winning championships. This had something i wanted and I knew that I could obtain it as long as I applied myself properly.
I learned English quickly my first summer in the United States, enabling me to communicate with other people effectively. But most importantly, I was able to develop spiritually as I gain more knowledge of the gospel. I continuously tried to ponder the scriptures everyday so I can better understand my
To be specific, I wish to make no less than a “B” in all of my classes, with an overall G.P.A. of a 3.3 or higher. The reason for these high grades and expectations is that after the successful completion of my second semester, my plans are to further my education at Clemson University in the fall of 2012. The year is still young but I have high hopes as I embark on a new phase of my academic career. As one may observe from the paragraphs above, my expectations of what I hope to accomplish in the upcoming semester and school year are
In the mince of that I was training with to personal trainer in between the workouts during the summer. I learned how to work out with proper technique so I won’t hurt myself while lifting and help me prevent injury during the season. I also enjoyed teaching others to lift the right way and it helped the greatly because their strength greatly blossomed. It gave me the confidence that I was doing it right myself too. In the end to show my coaches before my season of my senior year that I was ready to play with the big dogs I showed my hard work.
Christian Seidle Exploratory Final Paper May 18, 2012 Exploratory Final Paper During my senior year I have had the opportunity to observe an eighth grade class for a whole year. I have learned a lot from this experience and it has given me valuable information on the teaching field. I have always had some interest in becoming a teacher and some of my reasons for this are included in the article. Even though I have seen some evidence of all these reasons some are more prevalent than others. One of the ten reasons I have seen a lot is daily humor.
Our road is long, but we travel it together and it will lead us to a better place. We won’t turn back. We won’t leave anyone behind. We will help each other. We will become stronger from our victories.
