The intention of this piece of work is to reflect upon my 360 degree tool for the care, compassion and communication that I have delivered whilst being on placement within a hospital setting. I carefully chose the reflective model by Gibbs (Gibbs 1988), the reason for this being is that it is a really good and easy organised structure to follow. The Gibbs cycle includes a description of what happened, feelings and thoughts, evaluation of what was good and bad, analysis of the situation, conclusion of what else could have been done and last of all an action plan of what you would do if the situation arose again?
