Reflecting on Exam Failure

Today finally we got an exact idea of how our university exam rules and regulations is , for example : things to bring , information of exam , preparation …etc. However , I would say the exam rules in the Netherlands is pretty same with my home country. Today’s topic had reminds me something about my exam failure during my high school time, and it inspired me to reflecting on the exam failure. Failing an examination could be overwhelming and you might feel that it is difficult to continue with your studies. And I think reflection will help you to gain perspective about your situation, for example: “what do I need to do in order to pass my examinations next time? ”. In my opinion, the most important thing to do in order to pass my examinations is all about motivation, I would try to motivate myself with something to gain my motivation of study harder and achieve what I want , anything that can motivate you like ambition or target you want to hit in this term. Secondly , try to decrease the demotivator for your exam , You need to reflect on those aspects that are making it hard for you to concentrate on your studies - what is demotivating you and what can you do about that? In the other way , preparation is also one of the important things to avoid failure on exam , what are the practical actions you have to take in order to revise for your exams? There are several information in the text book, but not all information are the important point for the subject, so you might have to try to summarize the information or try to get more information from the class or lecture about which chapter is important and recommended to study it. In order to get the right information for study , you also need to plan a time table , or maybe not exact a time table for study , try to start study as soon as you can so you have more time to revise and prepare.
