This report was authorized by management at On the Border in Loveland, Colorado and will be presented to the general and service manager. Authorization has been given to analyze employee turnover and recommend strategies that will decrease the problem. This study includes in depth research of employee turnover at the national level as well as at the location in Loveland. Although On the Border is gaining popularity and progressively adding locations across America, the information gathered through surveys and research demonstrates an increasing employee turnover rate. This report suggests that with some essential changes, On the Border can reduce the rate at which employees leave the company. Recommendations include interviews after each training shift, exit interviews, employing more full-time staff, and personality tests prior to hiring an employee.
