Six episodes have been produced, the first three of which aired in 2010. Series two aired in 2012(wikipedia.org) I got my attention on these series because there were very popular on BBC and they gained huge audience and a very good critical response. Sherlock - the 5 W's Two series, each consisting of three episodes, have been produced. So, the first series are made up from 3 episodes: 1. A study in pink – that is based on the Doyle’s novel A study in scarlet 2. The Blind Banker. 3. The Great Game. The second series contain other 3 episodes 1 .A Scandal in Belgravia based on A scandal in Bohemia 2. The Hounds of Baskerville – which is probably the most famous Sherlock Holmes novel. 3. The Reichenbach Fall, which was the final episode of the second season and made a lot of fuss on the internet, because of the indefinite death of the main character. Sherlock - the 5 W's The famous detective from Baker Street , London on the 19th century was brought to the 221B Baker Street of the 21st century. We have a Sherlock Holmes that uses Google, internet and cell phones in order to solve crimes. Though, this “hi -tech” Sherlock preserves one of the most important qualities of the classical one – the penchant for the new and developed resources.
