Rafael Trujillo Molina was a war criminal, world leader and the dictator of the Dominican Republic for 30 years. He was born on October 24th, 1891 and died May 30th, 1961 in Ciudad Trujillo, Dominican Republic after being ambushed by a group of rebels determined to end his cruel dictatorship. During Trujillo’s 30 year dictatorship, one of the bloodiest eras the nation has ever encountered, he considered himself the nation’s president but exercised complete dominion over every portion of the country. His dictatorship was so grime that anyone who dared to oppose him and his beliefs was incarcerated, tortured, and murdered.
