Since the beginning of time, which is evident even in the holy bible, racism and discrimination occurs quite frequently. Will it ever be an end to this ongoing problem? Sad to say, as long as inadequate information, ill-advised people and untrue rumors are in circulation in society, people will continue to dislike and hate other people for the color of their skin, nationality or the religion that they practice. Expectantly, what is interesting, that there are close parallels between fundamentalism, racism and right-wing authoritarianism. The fundamentalists tend to be “right-wing” authoritarians who value obedience to authority, conventionalism and most notably, hostility to outsiders. This is a form of racism! But as it turns out, right-wing authoritarianism is explains and is a direct link to fundamentalism and racism. The worldview promoted by religious fundamentalism has many aspects that appear to look like a lot of the precursors of right-wing authoritarianism. This is because it was God who brought creation into being to be the “arena of history.” In the depths of human history the growth of nations, the rise and fall of empires, appear as dependent on the will and prowess of man. The shaping of events seems, to a great degree, to be determined by his power and ambition. But in the word of God the curtain is drawn aside, and we behold, behind, above and through all the play and counter-play of human interests and power and passions, the agencies of the all-merciful One, silently, patiently working out the counsels of his own will. But the religion or racism, however overthrows this biblical view of history. In this religion, the superior race, not God, is the center of human history. And the forces which shape history are polar opposites of races, which is the clash between the superior and inferior races. The view in racism is similar to that in the secular religion of communism. But whereas, in communism, economic forces are believed to create the “proletariat” and “bourgeois” social classes, and whereas the clash between the two becomes the basis for the interpretation of the meaning of history, in the religion of racism, the shaping forces of history are determined by genetic forces (Lerner, 2009).
