Nathanael was such an inspiring writer and very unique with a lot of passion. Nathanael was born in Salem, Massachusetts on July 4, 1804. He knew many famous people and went to college with poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and future president Franklin Pierce. A historical event that Mr. Hawthorne grew up to know about was that his great-grand father was a magistrate during the 1692 Salem witch trials. Nathanael came from a respected well known family.

Hypatia was born in the year 370 AD in Alexandria, Egypt. She was the daughter of Theon, a famous mathematician and astronomer. He invented many things, but his most famous invention is the astrolabe, which measures the altitude of a star or planet. Hypatia studied with her father for many years at the Museum in Alexandria, but soon became unsatisfied with his instruction because she was smarter than him. She left Egypt, and traveled to Greece and Rome to do "post-graduate" work.
Moses Maimonides’ works and teachings influenced later Jewish, Greek and Christian scholars and philosophers. His works and services that he provided to the Jewish community have notoriously contributed to Judaism to a great extent. Moses’ contributions to the Jewish society since the 12th century have influenced many people from both Jewish and other religious traditions and he is known as the greatest Jewish leader that ever lived and people still study him and are taught about him today. “He was not only a healer of princes, but a prince of healers” – Lawrence Englander. His works and contributions are studied today by both Jewish and non-Jewish scholars.
An epic story that inspired many authors to write their own version of it, “The Odyssey.” The mastermind of this story was Homer (Greek; W Hómēros), a blind poet, who majored in ancient Greek literature. He was said to be born around 800 B.C. and yet, we still read one of his greatest novels to this day. Odysseus, who is the main character of the story, has many obstacles to overcome. But luckily, his courage helps him find his way home.
(49) While working for Keimer, Franklin also began writing for a rival printer under an alias. He couldn't get enough of the printing business, and started to become a great writer here. He read many essays and books which influenced his writing and also his character. After a couple years in Philadelphia, Franklin was making a name for himself. A letter he wrote to his brother-in-law was shown to the governor who thought it was so good he sent Franklin a letter recommending him to his father to start a business.

At the age of 16 he studied at the College of William and Mary, here he met his law professor George Wythe, who has great influence on Thomas’ life. Under his professor William Small he studied mathematics, metaphysics, and philosophy. Small, also introduced Jefferson to the writings of John Locke, Francis Bacon and Isaac Newton. Early in his career Jefferson was a lawyer in Virginia, with his friend and mentor George Wythe. Jefferson’s clients were the elite families in Virginia at the time.
