Pursuit of Happyness essay The pursuit of happyness is movie that can be seen in different ways. It can be seen as a movie about money brings happiness or as a movie about picking careers. Picking a career for spending the rest of your life doing is one of the biggest decisions in your lifetime. You always want to pick a career that you will be satisfied doing for the rest of your life ad one that will make you happy. Chris Gardner the main character in the movie has a young son and a wife. Chris and his wife always fight about the rent and bills. They are a poor family leaving in an apartment and cannot afford to pay the rent. They have to sell at least two x-ray machines a month to pay off parking tickets, bills, and rent. The wife ends up leaving Chris and his son because they are unable to afford everything and there is too much arguing, therefore they are not meant for each other. One day Chris is walking past a stock market office he sees everyone coming out of there all so happy. He wishes he could be in there to. He ends up going for an interview and gets the job, even though he was dressed badly from being in the jail the night before. Chris realizes that even though the job there had no salary it was not all about the money. He wanted a different job so that he could become happy with his job. Chris made the right choice of going to work at the stick market. You should always pick a job based on happiness not the money. If you pick a job on the money you may not like that job and you will be unhappy for about 30 years of your lifetime. You should always pick a job that will bring you home happy each night with your family and no stress. Chris had to make a tough decision on whether to get the job or find another one with a salary. Chris went with his gut and made the right decision for himself and his son
