Whether the school is a charter or not matters when the children going to that charter school are there to be focused on because of their previous education and the lower education level they are on. These are kids that need more attention because they have fallen behind. They’re great schools with great results that are public and same goes for schools that are charter. There will always be a controversy between charter schools and public schools but I know for sure that if a student is dedicated and wants to learn and succeed and go somewhere in life they will do anything in their power to make sure they do whether they are attending a public school or a charter
To some extent, charter schools widen the achievement gap between privileged and unprivileged children by sometimes pulling the best and brightest students from the public school system. Charter schools offer parents a choice of whether or not to allow their children to attend schools for which they are zoned. This choice not only limits the number of students who can attend charter schools, but it also limits who can attend the charter schools. In some instances, these limitations can question the fairness and equality of charter schools. Charter schools extract funds from the regular school system.
Everything academic revolves around the year-end state testing to the point that other subjects are usually neglected. Reading, math and writing are the main thrusts of schools, and are obviously important. However, critics state that children are not receiving well-rounded educations because of the emphasis on these subjects
The documentary follows a few students as they prepare for a lottery system to hopefully to escape the failing school system. Charter schools have become the answer to bypassing the overly complicated federal school system. It offers students the ability to receive a good education from good teachers and the success rate of graduates is much higher than that of the public school system. I think charter schools are a great idea because it focuses
Education has dumbed down but there are so many different aspects of the situation, fingers pointed on why this has happened. Reason of media, social, funding, whether you when to public or private schools, the extra curricular activities schools were offering. I don’t believe that just one of these subjects are to blame, but a combination of them all. Due to the No Child Left Behind Act and the Instrument to Measure Standards tests, which most states have, schools are now micro-managed by state and federal regulations. Teachers are told what they will teach and how they will teach.
A good education is greatly respected and the benefits of having a college degree are much greater than those who do not receive a college education. People who have a high school diploma have fewer opportunities than those who received a college education and job companies are more likely to hire the higher educated person because of their expertise and educational experience. Although this may seem unfair and inconvenient to most, most jobs companies are looking for a more experienced person and someone who will be able to learn quicker and apply the knowledge that they have already obtained throughout college into their
While there are several “rags to riches” stories that serve to encourage the members of the lower class to work hard and achieve their dreams, much truth lies in the fact that the government does not provide enough opportunities for them to do so. I would recommend revising the school choice provision of the No Child Left Behind Act in order to enable the mobility of students to schools located outside of their district. By doing so, many of the children within the working class would have the option to attend a school where they could receive the same opportunities as those of their high-born

So why should the innocent children be the ones being punished for something they Have no control over? By having more well educated people in the world it will make the environment a better place. The future needs to be thought about while changes and problems are being addressed. The school board and the people within the school systems need to have more caring feelings about those students who are being left behind.
Administrators Administrators in the public school system don't work for the school. Instead, they work for the government to help run the school. This means that they can have a hard time making changes or effectively responding to parents' problems, as to do so can put their careers at risk. State Testing Since public schools are state-run, they need to follow to state standards. As of 2011, these standards were becoming quantitatively tested through standardized testing -- the same test is given to every student, and the results are used to judge that school's performance.
Building a stronger economy means being able to have the millions that are here continue their education and this would have positive impact on the economy. These students, who normally are unable to obtain financial aid, would be aiding state schools. By giving that back, the schools too will see the positive fiscal impact. Not only that, but the schools would have a larger percentage of students going into these professional jobs and closing the gap that we have in the labor
