I also received a person specification which was attached to my job description and sets out the knowledge and skills required to do the job. Codes of practice are a valid list of statements describing the standards of professional conduct and practice required of every worker as they go about their daily work. My employer also has to abide by the Codes of Practice. My employer must give clear information about my role to ensure I understand and can carry out my work to a high quality and standard.
