Pg. 169 Question #2 What are some of the examples in which observational learning has benefited you in life? Are there instances in which observational learning has worked to your disadvantage? One example of observational learning that has benefited me in my life is driving a standard car. When I first started learning to drive my father would take me out and demonstrate what I needed to do when it came to driving a car with a standard transmission and changing gears. He showed me that I needed to give the car gas slowly as I let out on the clutch slowly. As the care got going he showed me what speeds I needed to change gears and how to do that. He showed me that I needed to let off the gas and push the clutch all the way in, then move the gear shifter to the next gear.
