LEARNING TEAM CHARTER – Course Title | PSY/211 Team Ground Rules and Guidelines What are the general expectations for all members of the team? Each team member shall contribute equally to team projects and assignments. Deadlines set for rough drafts, reviews and final projects should be kept by all members. Check in regularly to the team forum for updates from team members and instructor. Follow course syllabus for course requirements and deadlines. Expectations for Time Management and Involvement (Participation, communication with the team, accessibility, etc.) Keeping in mind that everyone has personal lives outside of the course, we ask that members keep open communication with the team, and if unable to check in online, that they call/text or email a team member for updates. We ask that each team member follow the deadlines for rough drafts, reviews and final projects. Ensuring Fair and Even Contribution and Collaboration What strategy will you use to ensure that all team members are contributing and collaborating appropriately? Describe the communication strategy you will use if a team member is not contributing and collaborating effectively. How will the team manage conflicts between team members? To ensure that each team member is contributing equally, we will take inventory of projects and outline a project plan, asking for volunteers for areas and assigning others. We will communicate primarily on the team forum, and via phone/text. If we feel a team member is not contributing, or any conflicts arise, we will address it with the team member directly. If unable to resolve we will ask the instructor for assistance.
