NASA Space Program My main topic is the United States Space Program. I will be arguing on the pro side of things for the space program. The space program has a lot of good qualities about it. The money they receive contributes to the space program in a big way. The technological and economic benefits that the space program has given or will give are a good factor. The history behind the space program is the biggest factor because of all the recognition and appraise it has received. Money is a big factor when it comes to the space station. The United States government has enough money to work on problems both here and in space and will continue to explore the last frontier. NASA technology also has been adapted for many non-aerospace uses by the private sector. NASA remains a leading force in scientific research and in stimulating public interest in aerospace exploration, as well as science and technology in general. Perhaps more importantly, our exploration of space has taught us to view Earth, ourselves, and the universe in a new way. Every aircraft utilizes technology pioneered by NASA. New industries have been built on space technology, including personal computers, advanced medical equipment, communications satellites, weather forecasting and natural resource mapping. Many NASA technologies contribute to research in education, transportation, pollution control, rain forest protection and health care. The United States space program provides countless benefits in space exploration, improvement of life technologies, greening of the planet and changing lives.
