Kayla Kim November, 1, 2012 How to maintain white teeth Teeth are one of the most important parts of our body, because it plays an important role when people eat. However, some of us ignore health care of teeth. Why does this happen? It has to do it with on our habits. But, if you follow these steps it’s not difficult to maintain white teeth. You only need three ingredients to maintain white teeth: brushing one’s teeth, avoiding bad things, and eating crunchy foods. The habit of human does not change easily. When you were young, if you had a bad habit, it might take a while to grow out of it. On the other hand, if you had a good habit, that makes it easy. The first step in the process of maintains healthy teeth are to brush three times a day in a certain way. For example, if you had wrong of brushing your teeth, you should see a dentist and have him check your teeth condition. In addition, you must learn how to brush from dentist. Then, I recommend you brush your teeth at least three times a day. But, you don’t need to brush too hard. If you keep on with this way, it will help you to maintain white teeth. Secondly, you should avoid specific drinks and foods. For example, foods with heavy staining properties such as cherries, curries, and junk food should be avoided. It’s recommended that teeth should be cleaned as soon as possible after ingesting such foods. In addition, drinks such as tea, coffee, red wine, and dark soft drinks like coke or grapes juice are all responsible for teeth staining. For these reasons, try to drink drinks that do not leave stain, such as water or milk. Similarly, if you smoke, it makes your gum to die and your teeth to turn yellow, so you must quit it. Finally, eat crunchy foods that require a lot of chewing such as carrots, celery, broccoli and apples. These foods are abrasive and will remove built up plaque,
