Having a relaxed state of mind reduces stress and improves ones over all well-being. The process of relaxing can be achieved by being alone in a comfortably and clam environment, deep breathing, and positive thinking. Before one tries to create a comfortable and calm environment for relaxing; one will need to create a conformable and clam environment on the inside. Getting in to a warm bath helps a lot. Putting on lose soft clothing helps too. When the comfortable on the inside has been taken care of, it is time to start with the outside quiet location. One that will promote a calm state of mind is needed for relaxation. Trying to meditate in front of the television or in a room with talking people can be difficult. The idea is to minimize distractions. One wants to be comfortable. This is all part of minimizing distractions. Physical discomfort can be one of the worst distractions of them all. This step of creating a clam environment is just as important as prewriting or gathering ingredients for a meal.----this promotes a positive environment to focus and relax. Next one may try relaxation breathing exercises there are various types of these exercises. One thing they all have in common, however, is focusing intently on taking deep, slow breaths. As you become more aware of your own breathing and develop greater control over it, it will become easier for you to use it to create a state of calm. Many meditation and relaxation techniques use counting to control and extend the breath. One simple way to use this technique is to count four beats as you inhale four beats as you exhale. Once the exhale is fully out one should inhale again without holding the breath out. One can use any number, as long as the inhale, holding in and exhale are the same length. As your body becomes more relaxed, one can slow down the counting or add more beats to get longer deeper
