Law enforcement plays an imperative role within the juvenile justice system. Today, there are programs to help direct juveniles in the right path as well as help those who have become a part of the system to hopefully give them a chance to better their lives. There are programs today that help bring law enforcement and juvenile together. Programs such as: D.A.R.E., The Boys and Girls Club of America, Youth Leadership programs, Youth Community Centers, Mentoring programs, After-School programs, and Family Support Services, which all help bring positive changes to dysfunctional juveniles. Without these programs and the help from law enforcement officials, juveniles would not have a way to escape from the negativity they see on a day to day basis.
Terrence Stone focused on ways to help young people see that there is a good life outside of gangs. Ray Culberson is another individual to found a program for youth at risk of joining gangs. This program is called Kids in Chaos. Malik Thompson Ethics The juvenile court System is a very good system, and is one that is well needed. Without it, how else would we punish the youngsters that make some wrong decisions? Three ways I would fix the problem here in the United States is that, I would have more harsh punishments for those who commit the crimes; I would have a better rehab process to prevent further crimes, and finally I would implement a mandatory parenting class for parents of violators. With the combination of these three ideas, plus other people’s ideas out in the world, we can all come to help to make this world and safer and better place to live and raise our children in. The first thing that I would change would be to enforce harsher punishment for crimes so as to defer young teens from making the same mistakes again.

Many companies advertise philanthropic missions, such as donating to charities every year or helping to provide for the families of their employees. While these are messages that consumers hear, a more powerful message can be the one that the consumers themselves see. Rather than closing down those stores, Company Q should focus on the reasons for the high crime, and offer ways to reduce that crime rate. Offering work programs that help prepare young people for management or skilled positions is a good way to take crime off of the streets while showing to the community that the business cares about the welfare of the population.
Of course there could be more structure which would cause gangs to be less damaging to our culture but the original idea behind it is a good one. We have things like Boys and Girls Club or after school programs to keep children busy and out of trouble, but those seem to be for youth whose parents and families are involved in their lives and play an active role in the decisions they make. Other children don’t have that starting at a very young age so they become independent and think they can do things on their own. That is the idea behind a gang. It is a group of individuals that want to find their place but have no direction to guide them.
Analyse the Importance of Supporting Resilience in Children and Young People. Resilience is about being independent, standing on your own two feet or taking back the power. It is important because it can help reverse some of the effects that bullying can have on children and young people. It is also a life skill and will be useful to a child in many areas of life, it will give them confidence not only to stand up for themselves but also to champion the rights of others, it can help to increase the child’s value in themselves and helps to promote and restore self-esteem. It can prevent children taking more drastic action like self-harming or suicide and can send a message to the bullies that what they’re doing is not working.
This program was base to give juveniles extra activity in the evening to keep them out of trouble. They did this by providing the juveniles with recreational and social service on Fridays and Saturdays.
