What makes me " Pretty Amazing " ? Many people wonder what’s pretty amazing about them. I don’t have to wonder because I find myself to be unique. I firmly believe that if someone plans on achieving their aspirations, setting their goals is a very important step. Having goals not only gives me a clear focus on things, it also helps me organize, and gives me time limits. This is why I try to set goals for myself routinely, whether it is just for one day or for the rest of my life. When people see me, they see a normal girl, just like everyone else. But in the inside I’m not as normal as you think and not everyone knows that, I was born prematurely on November 17, 1991 at 6 months and 2 weeks. I was diagnosed with a Heart Murmurs. Murmurs are pathologic heart sounds that are produced as a result of turbulent blood flow that is sufficient to produce audible noise. As of today I am 21 years old and I have faced more pain than the normal teenager or young adult should experience. Usually the pain a teenager goes through is falling down and scraping an elbow or knee and the pain a young adult usually faces is a broken arm, sprained ankle, or a broken heart. Unfortunately I have also scraped my elbows and knees a few times, broke several bones as well, in the pasted I have had seven minor to major heart surgeries and have gone through more pain trying to recover than anyone will ever understand. Well my sophomore year was a little different, than the others, I had 3 surgeries within two month. Fourty nine days in a hospital, no one understood, I didn’t even understand why the doctors kept messing up. I mean one day I’m having an awesome day, I was enrolled in JR R.O.T.C and we won 2nd place in the drill regional competion and getting prepared for the week’s game.
