Any given university has numerous positive aspects. To begin with, one of the positive aspects of a university is that the university helps the students acquire knowledge thus enhancing the prospects of the students in their future life. Indeed, it is a known fact that those who go to university have better chances of securing better jobs in the future. In addition to that, it can also be explained that the university also helps students develop other skills that are vital in their lives. For instance, by attending the university, one is able to develop his/her presentation skills, team work skills, discussion skills, report writing skills and problem solving skills among others. Another positive aspect of university is that it creates employment opportunities to those who reside near to the university. In that context, the university can be said to have a positive impact to the local community. On the other hand, any given university also has some negative aspects. One of the negative aspects of the universities can be said to be entail the peer pressure that at times results to students engaging in unlawful activities due to influence from other students. For instance, it can be pointed out that it has been well documented that majority of students get involved with drugs as well as other criminal activities due to peer pressure. Another negative aspect of university can be said to entail the heavy workload that the students have to undertake and can be deteriorating to the health of some students.
