A tradition that many Mexican families pass on is to be awakened on the day of their birthday by the sound of Las Mañanitas, a traditional birthday song played by a mariachi band. Mariachi is also a form of communication through its serenata. In a society where young men and women were kept apart the young men would use the serenata to send a message of love to their beloved ones. He is home tending to the what we normally think is the womanly duties; cleaning, picking up the kids from school, cooking, and many other things. Task C I would like you to create a reflective account of a time where you provided the children with snack or a meal. Within this explain the codes of conduct when the children are at the table (noise level, cleaning away, manors) including hygiene and why this is important. An example of a time when I have provided the children with a snack or meal would be providing lunch in the toddler room. Before the meal we had been outside, so when we returned to the room each child was asked to go to the toilet – or we checked their nappies – and to wash their hands even if they didn’t need the toilet.

Aubrey Ways Purpose of Art Essay 11/24/12 This past weekend I went to attend the annual Black Nativity play that our school held for the theatre department. As far as art goes it didn’t so much express “African” art but more so the culture of black art and how it manifest through dancing and singing in the black community today. I feel as though our fellow students portrayed the character in an amazing way and interpreted the communication through dance well also.
