The more they practice and the more teachers and parents instill this in their minds, the better they will become. Perfect practice, makes perfect. Most people would probably have trouble with trying to remember how they learned to read. I would have to say that I am a person who loves to read and I think that is it really an amazing thing. Also, I am someone who is involved in education and research and I think that it is amazing how learning to read is said to be a talent that it potentially impossible.
Through these new techniques, I have learned to deal with stress well. Through meditation I realized that I can truly relax in an amazing way. It especially helps get in touch with your body. Just being in a quiet, secluded area, trying to “stretch it all out” and get over all the stressed helped dramatically. It was a new technique that was very easy and relaxing.

I love well written books that I can visualize with as I am reading. I love an author that can use words and phrases to keep me guessing throughout the book, it gives me the urge to want to know what is going to happen next. I want to keep reading to get to the end to fully understand what the author’s purpose is. I love a story that is very detailed because it gives me the chance to place myself in the story and really get into it.
His personality was just really entertaining. He could be calm, but as soon as he lost his temper, you shouldn’t cross him. He was extremely academically based. He was very worried about his grades and studies. The author’s vocabulary and diction was another thing I really liked.
Others are indifferent to making the world a better place. It is the caring and selfless people who deserve and receive the most admiration, the ones who are here to enjoy life and make others' lives better. These admirable people are also the memorable characters in the best novels. They have their share of challenges and sometimes falter. These fictional characters are dynamic because they are imperfect; they have their faults just like real people.
Another reason this novel is well written is because it’s comedic. It’s funny and entertaining. Not everything in this novel is a joke, but the way the main character, Violet, explains her thoughts and thinks about everyday happenings is very entertaining and could probably make lots of people chuckle. Books with a hint of comedy are slightly hard to come by. It’s easy to find a cheesy book that is so cheesy it isn’t even funny and books that are so serious that you could read the entire novel cover to cover without a single facial expression.
Running Head: CHILDREN'S LITERATURE IN A PLURALISTIC SOCIETY Children's Literature in a Pluralistic Society University of Phoenix Children's Literature in a Pluralistic Society One benefit to reading and listening to books is they can stretch the attention spans of children. Children’s literature has not always been so extensive and colorful as it is today. At the beginning children’s books read like instruction manuals rather than escapism or a fun educational tool. Even though Children's literature can misconstrue a Childs point of view, Children’s literature is needed to ensure a future because each milestone of children’s literature develops social functions within a pluralistic society. There are five specific key milestones/events/developments of children’s literature that includes social functions within the trends.
John Steinbeck made the plot interesting and the themes behind the work were truly brilliant. The book had its points were they were very descriptive but didn’t keep me interested enough. Reading through those boring parts is completely worth it though. Steinbeck makes the book easy to understand and i like that quality a lot about this book. In my opinion, I got the idea that this book was written more for the workings of the mind but at the same time Steinbeck wanted to make you feel something as you read this.
One will find that these children, who enjoy reading, will be a lot more interested when reading with parents and peers. When these children have the experience of sharing books with diverse
These words are also very encouraging and eye-opening to me because I used to think the emotions described were a sign that I was not truly a writer. It is refreshing and comforting to know that even a successful novelist such as Waters experiences the doubt, fear, and strain that I feel when writing. This statement discredits the idea that writing is always fun and free-flowing. I feel like I can now, after reading this, write with a little more confidence because I know there are others out there—groaning, wondering, and panicking—just like
