When I go to the beach I see how dirty the water is there. I hesitate to swim in it. Lake Erie is a beautiful lake when it is not so dirty, and we should try and preserve it. If we don’t it will be become so polluted that it will be considered dead, this happened in the 1960s due to all the factories dumping waste in to the Lake. It was literally a dumping ground and it even caught on fire a few times due to the toxic wastes.

Legalize It Every year in America billions of dollars are made illegally, thousands of people are imprisoned, and even more people lose their lives to drugs. On a broad level, illegal drugs ruin whole communities by perpetuating the disease of addiction and engulfing neighborhoods in the gang violence that inevitably comes with illegal drug trafficking. On a more personal level, illegal drugs ruin lives by making people turn their backs on loved ones and causing them to throw away their dreams. Most people agree that a problem that is this pervasive and expansive must be dealt with, but few can agree on a solution. There is only one practical solution.

The IWC is an international committee of representatives that help conserve a variety of whale species by eliminating the practice of commercial whaling. Although, many different species of whales are protected under the IWC, dolphins are not included. Consequently, it is legal to slaughter dolphins in many parts of the world. The director attempts to show these devastating consequences by provide footage of dolphin killings. Personally, I will never forget the clicks and screams these dolphins filled the entire cove with.
Companies have deposited their waste in the lake, which has caused the lake to be shut down because humans are getting sick and even dying from the polluted waters. Viruses, pathogens, chemicals and toxins are all part of this pollution, which affects recreation, jobs, and habitats of animals. Fishermen have not spent money fishing for sport due to the drastic reduction of the salmon population at Lake Huron. Recreational hours at the lake have also seen a drastic decrease. This devastation affects a majority of the U.S. being one of our largest sources of fresh water, and will only continue to deplete, as companies carelessly dump their waste into the lake.
