I would recommend that Zara”s planner’s use the Salesforce Estimation Method for projecting sales item by item. 1b. Why? The Salesforce Estimation Method is a sales forecasting technique that predicts future sales by analyzing the opinions of the salespeople as a group. Salespeople continually interact with customers, and from this interaction they usually knack for predicting future sales. The Salesforce Estimation Method is considered to be a valuable management tool and is commonly used in business and industry throughout the world. Because Zara is so unique in the way they do business, there is no one else to compare them to. They are in a league of their own. (Certo & Certo, 2012) 2. What kind of procedures, policies, and rules would Zara’s management be likely to establish to guide planning for the grand opening of a new store? Step 1 Identify the target group you want to attend your grand opening event. Consider the typical customers you expect to frequent your business, such as parents of young children if you open a kids' clothing store or busy adults for your errand business. Step 2 Schedule the grand opening ceremony during the week and at a time of year that isn't busy with holidays or other activities.
