History Of Pizza Hut Pizza Hut is a very well known restaurant chain, which started off as a small business and expanded into the worlds biggest Pizza company. During 1958, Frank and Dan Carney thought of the idea to open a pizza restaurant. The restaurant started off as a 25seat place and it looked like a hut so they decided to call it ‘Pizza Hut.’ Then fifteen years later they opened the first one in the UK ever and since then they have turned into an extremely popular pizza restaurant. Pizza Hut offers many motivational methods to their staff, in order to keep them working. Every worker in a business inspire to the following benefits of motivational financial rewards, staff appraisal and acknowledgment and compliments of work standards. Motivation is the desire, interest or drive to w ant to work and it is extremely important in a business because it maximises performance that leads to success. Employees at Pizza Hut are easily motivated, by receiving small gestures or rewards for their positive accomplishments of an individual. One-way of doing do could be gift vouchers: this is a kind of instant reward. This shows that staff is able and motivated to carry out their work and remain as an employee in the business. It can increase the employees self esteem and make him/her feel better about their job or position.
