Physics (from Ancient Greek: φύσις physis "nature") is a natural science that involves the study of matter[1] and its motion through spacetime, along with related concepts such as energy and force.[2] More broadly, it is the general analysis of nature, conducted in order to understand how the universe behaves. Applications according fields of physics Classical Mechanics - Probably the closest to our daily experiences, classical mechanics finds many applications in industry as well as research. Mechanical design and automation in industry, and simulation in research rely on principles of classical mechanics. Electricity and Magnetism - Development in the knowledge of Electricity and Magnetism has revolutionalised the technological development in all fields of physics. The generator and motor designed using the phenomena of Electromagnetic Induction are widely used machines. Technology and industry today depends largely on power. Knowledge of magnetism has helped us build precise instruments and mechanical systems. Thermodynamics is a physical science that studies the effects on material bodies, and on radiation in regions of space, of transfer of heat and of work done on or by the bodies or radiation. It interrelates macroscopic variables, such as temperature, volume and pressure, which describe physical properties of material bodies and radiation, which in this science are called thermodynamic systems. Optics is the branch of physics which involves the behavior and properties of light, including its interactions with matter and the construction of instruments that use or detect it.[1] Optics usually describes the behavior of visible, ultraviolet, and infrared light. Because light is an electromagnetic wave, other forms of electromagnetic radiation such as X-rays, microwaves, and radio waves exhibit similar properties. Nuclear Physics is the field of physics
