But can it be accomplished? The Mayans have made numerous predictions based on the stars and alignment of the sun in relation to the rest of the skies. But their most controversial prediction strikes a huge argument among scientists. Is their prediction that the end of the world on December 21st, 2012 true? Is this even possible that they could predict something so catastrophic?
What happens in this concept is that the earth tilts and the poles swap ends. The North Pole goes to the south and the South Pole goes to the north. It’s almost as if the world is turned upside down. This global change could cause many catastrophes on earth, including giant tsunamis, deadly earthquakes, and dangerous volcanic eruptions. Some biblical theologists also predict that the earth will end in nuclear devastation caused by mankind.
January 1, 2000, also known as the Y2K bug that was supposed to wipe out all computers. Society warned that it could have deadly effects such as solar flares, severe earthquakes, “land changes” and “seismic explosions”. Did any of this happen? No. 2.
When it does, it will envelope Mercury, Venus and eventually Earth. The only question is what catastrophe will destroy, or render this planet uninhabitable, before that time. In Cormac McCarthy’s The Road, the author gives a view of an earth that has been all but destroyed but gives the reader no specific cause for this broken world. Many ideas and theories have been given. Ranging from gamma ray bursts to nuclear
The impact of the bomb would leave a crater between 370 ft and 600 ft long and winds up to 180 MPH. A mushroom cloud would expand nearly 16 miles into the sky. A flash lasting approximately twenty-two seconds brightens the horizon fifty miles away. After the initial explosion, radiation would linger through the air for weeks. People within an outer ten mile radius would suffer from second degree burns due to the amount of radiation, also leading to many fatalities.
Even though NASA and the U.S. government have video of the Apollo11 moon landing, many still think we in fact did not go to the moon. Why haven’t there been more manned explorations and was this an elaborate hoax by NASA to satisfy political demands. Michael Newton (2006). The Encyclopedia of Conspiracies and Conspiracy Theories (pg. 22).
Because Titan has such a dense atmosphere scientists had a lot of trouble studying the surface of the large moon. This was until 2004 when the CassiniHuygens mission was launched. The purpose of this mission was to observe and study Saturn and Titan by using fly-bys. The fly-bys that have already taken
Speculation that the moon landings were faked began circulating almost as soon as the Apollo 11 landed back on Earth. Bill Kaysing, author of ‘We Never Went to the Moon: Americas 30 Billion Dollar Swindle’, is often credited with being the leader of the moon landing conspiracy theories. He was also featured in ‘Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?’. The show created a stir and is credited with reviving speculation that the landings were a hoax. After the broadcast, NASA was bombarded with so many questions from the public that it was forced to post an official answer on its website.
The Mayans predicted this through their extremely advanced mathematics, engineering, as well as astronomy. It is believed that the Earth will experience a magnetic field shift, an asteroid will collide with the Earth, or there will simply be a series of major natural disasters. The Mayans had what is referred to as “The Great Cycle,” which is their calendar that lasts 5, 125.36 years (MacDonald). On December 21, 2010 this cycle is going to end, which means time ends, which means the world is coming to an end. This is just one theory of the apocalypse and how the world is going to end.
The idea could be considered as madness but others may say THIS IS PHYICS! After the giant nebula has started to converge it forms a Protostar, this Protostar is halfway between a nebula and a star. Eventually it gets to a point where it cant contract any more gas and the tremendous pressure starts to cause tremendous hear, and thus nuclear fusion begins, true story.
