Football has had many great teams with great quarterbacks. One team is the Indianapolis Colts with the greatest quarterback of all time; Peyton Manning. To find out why Peyton is the best is by looking at his high school career, college, and professional career. While attending Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Louisiana. He led his team to a thirty-four to five record as a starting quarter for three seasons. He was named Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player-of-the-Year. Also, he was named Columbus Touchdown Club National Offensive Player-of-the-Year in nineteen ninety-three. Through high school he was obviously a great player. Manning attended the University of Tennessee instead of Ole Miss which was against his fathers wishes. As freshman he was third-string, but due to injuries to the other quarterbacks he took over the game for a loss. His next few seasons were quite better. He later became Tennessee’s all-time leading passer with 11,201 yards and 89 touchdowns. His finale record was he won 39 of 45 games as a starter, breaking the SEC record for career wins. His college years were rough at first then erupted with talent. Manning was selected first overall in the 1998 draft. In his rookie season he set five different NFL rookie records. In his 2006 season he opened his first game against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football in the first “Manning Bowl”. it was the first NFL game with starting quarterbacks being brothers. The Colts won this game 26-21. In this same season the Colts would win the Super Bowl XLI and Manning would be voted MVP. In 2009 the Colts would go back to the Super Bowl and lose it to the Saints. `two critical passes were missed by Reggie Wayne. By looking at his high school, college, and professional career one can see that Peyton Manning is obviously the greatest quarterback of all times. He has broke many records
