Personality Reflection 1) How would you define personality? I believe that everyone develops their own personality. As infant we are somewhat selfish because all we know is to eat and want to be changed. As we get older we start developing characteristics (Traits) from the environment around us and we are raised. Also the individuals emotional and behavioral characteristic. Actually defining personality is a board area and can go many ways. Some personality traits are hereditary. 2) What are some key personality features that define you? Key personality features for myself are actually I have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality disorder, PTSD. I have gone through years of counseling and medications. Currently I am not on meds and I feel I am okay. I do go to group therapy and that helps. My family and friends say that I am a friendly, nice, caring and loving individual. I am spontaneous, adventurous and like to do things for the rush. For example riding Goliath or other roller coasters. Another characteristic that I have is that my family, friends and strangers always confide in me about thing that they do not talk to others about. My best friend always says that I am non-judgmental and listen. My mom says I am intelligent and can do anything once I put my mind to it. Some other characteristics are dependable, honest and loyal. Some say I am to honest, 3) What key concepts or constructs are used to explain your personality? Well, I went ahead and took a personality test to see where I was on the scale of Extraverted vs. Introverted, Intuitive vs. Sensing, Thinking vs. Feeling and Judging vs. Process. So I am Extraverted, which means Preference for the other world and ones own action and effect on it. Sensing means gathers information by focusing on facts within information. Feeling means decides according to what matters to self,
