Throughout my entire life my parents have pushed me to my extreme in every task that I embark on. They have, and will continue, to expect greatness from me. Their expectations have allowed me to become a responsible person. Beneath their wings I have become a mature, accountable, and helpful adult. Throughout these experiences, I have learned that I must manage my time wisely and finish things on my own.
Being raised in a low income area surrounded by people living the same lifestyle as you as if struggling is the norm of society. Children learn from early in their adolescent years adapt to their environment if they see their parents living in the projects in most cases they won’t have any means to get out of the projects. Children are affected mainly because of what they see not all but quite a few children are comfortable living the same way they grew up . Combs taught me that pushing through what you are scared of is only going to hold you back from being successful. I honestly feel that there is nothing holding me back in regards to my passions and my career and one day I will be successful in a field of work that I
Acsher purpose, speaker, and intended audience isn’t evident until the end of the essay. Her main reason and purpose or writing the essay seems to be first that a way of defeating loneliness is to become your own best friend, and second to explain that even a homeless man can have dignity and can achieve self satisfaction . She depicts this when she describes him standing “unselfconsciously” tossing boxes aside. This shows he that even a homeless man is too good for a box demonstrating dignity. She then references Boxcar Child to endorse The Box man’s life and how he’s defeated his loneliness, and lives a more free and liberated life than the average person.
As a child Pickton grew up in poverty with family members always looking for money. They worked hard; he describes it as "It was not too bad. It was a nice life, but it was a hard life, adding there was always food on the table. He prided himself on the mechanical expertise he developed, Pickton was advised to get some training at a body shop, but he wanted to learn on his own. As a United States soldier, I also have be trained that it takes hard work, motivation, and dedication to make your dreams come true. Gen. Powell once said “It takes personal hard work and dedication for you to become all that you can be”. On the base of my belief I find this statement to be so true. I've never depended on anyone and never wanted to. I set goals for myself and inspite of everything I've gone through, I've accomplished them and in some cases exceeded them.
I always felt the need to give back to the program because it was a program was run by volunteers, volunteering their free time to give kids something to do afterschool other than cause mischief being that is wasn’t in the best of neighborhoods. During middle school I also did similar volunteer work there to give me something extra to do afterschool on my free time. My overall accomplishment in doing this project is really to give back to the community from which I came from. Before the program starts I will go through a basic training giving me the skills I need to assist a program leader in running a class. As a volunteer, I will be observed by my mentor and other program leaders in my skills of helping to run a class and completing tasks assigned to me.
Just to have something to do with their spare time and think nothing of it. They do it because the money maybe a decent pay for them and they enjoy doing what they do. There are also young people out there that strip to pay college tuition and are trying to pay off loans. Also, people strip because their childhood wasn’t so great; father figures play a big part of people turning to stripping. Like if their fathers was in and out of jail and the mom was working two jobs to take care of the family.
The first way socialization affects me is my peers. My peers influences is greater that any or source of socialization. My parents played a major role in teaching me basic values and the development of desire to achieve long-term goals. All the years I have been around my peers I have learned the lifestyles issues, such as appearance, social activities, and dating. When I was in the stage of how my appearance looked I stayed dressed all the time, because I didn’t want anyone judging me.
In the ring, you need every edge you can get. Guardian’s health and happiness has been the most vital factor all these years. I have had to pay studious attention to, how hard he can pushed and when not to push him. Similar to human athletes, they get fatigued, and they can only do so much per training session. As my teammate, I want him to be compliant and enthusiastic about his job.
