Personal narrative observations of RhetoricMarta Venson English-112 Professor: Miss Fields Rhetoric Personal narrative observations of Rhetoric As I walked out of the classroom, I noticed the faces of the other classmates. There was a lot of confusion, and some fear on their expression. The expectation of what is this assignment is going to be about; some of them were from another country and different cultures. So I relived the identical fear because I felt the same fear that I experienced years ago because also I came to United States years previously, and I had experiences these changes of my culture. We walked through the hall and open the first door; one of the girls kicked the door trying to keep the door wide open. At that point, my mind was a little confused because in my country, we do not act like that especially at this education level. We pass the hall and went downstairs to the cafeteria. When in the cafeteria, I expected to work as a group since, those were our professor instructions, but I noticed that some students were just talking and fooling around. The media at the Commons room was, in my opinion, very effective. The students were well oriented and informed about college policy, but one person that caught my attention was a woman for the Middle East. She was wearing her costume dress from her country, including her veil; her attitude was the turning point for me. She was so excited including herself in the conversation with the others' students also from other countries and some Americans. At that point, I think to myself how United States is a country of many cultures, races, and immigrants.
