As well as for an education point of view this will help me as far as connecting myself with people that have similar personalities as me. As I said before, connecting with someone else who is just like me when it comes to personalities would be good as far as, becoming mutual college colleagues in the future and also working on personal assignments such as this together. Now looking back on the different personalities in the world I feel good about my own personal personality . It makes me appreciate myself more to know what type person I am. Since I know that I am a potential leader, I will be using this from now on to be the
“Transformational leaders are able to increase follower self-efficacy, giving the group a ‘can do’ spirit. Followers are more likely to pursue ambitious goals, agree on the strategic goals of the organization, and believe the goals they are pursuing are personally important” (Robbins & Judge, 2013, p. 384). By evaluating and comparing my characteristics with my admired leader, Janet Mock, “People working for charismatic leaders are motivated to exert extra effort and, because they like and respect their leader, express greater satisfaction” (Robbins & Judge, 2013, p. 381). Developing those additional leadership skills and advancing the characteristics I currently possess, will allow me the opportunity to expand my horizon. Conclusion Understanding and evaluating leadership styles and theories can allow an individual to assess his or her capabilities.
He makes the connection to his point in saying that a student expands their knowledge when there is a study of different majors. Newman supports his point in saying it is a good thing to have a wide range of studies in universities because students can be able to adjust themselves as well as relate to the

Being successful inside and outside of the classroom is something I want to accomplish. Being a part of a community such as the honors college will give me additional motivation to be academically successful. I enjoy giving my time and services to others in need. I am always interested in volunteering, but right now I just do not know how. There are resources offered at the honors college I plan on taking advantage of, that offer exploring ways to help out in the community and on campus.
Normally, we would not argue about children, but the statement that was made by me was taken out of context. We ended up settling everything, but that just goes to show how things can go left if you are miscommunicating with other people. Miscommunication is described as a lack of clear or adequate communication. In order to make sure that a miscommunication does not happen in the future, you have to make your voice well heard. Make sure that you are saying things in a way that it cannot be mistaken for anything other than it is.
Throughout history, America has thrived because of the heterogeneous components that contribute to its ingenuity. However, being diverse does not only apply to culture. Diversity includes having a broad range of interests and groups as well. A Society, which is build mainly on a mixture of different cultures, many interesting things may happen. Canada, America and Britain are the best examples. The huge cultural crossover lead to an interesting cultural outcome. With such a variety and freedom we all want to belong to something that we can best identify with. People who live in nations that are based on an extensive history of cultural traditions are more aware where they belong, and what to identify with.
I feel that I am more than capable of shouldering my responsibilities, as well as the consequences along with it. I don’t consider myself as a risk-taker because I never really had the courage to take the step in doing something that I am not certain of. I never had the urge to explore and approach unfamiliar situations and uncertainties. If you look through it, not being a risktaker isn’t really that bad because it makes me make sure and double-check everything that I am doing. I do it carefully and seek answers and information first before doing anything, which also makes me inquisitive.
Diversity in a college community promotes individual growth, strengthens communities and enriches educational experience. It is my belief that every individual has a unique perspective and experience so that their attachment to a college community would create a mutual learning-teaching environment, adding subsequently to quality education. So, I am an individual who have had lived previously in a diverse surrounding and therefore I can bring a lot to the diversity in a college community. As we come from various backgrounds, we all are diverse in terms of our opinions and thoughts. Likewise, I come from Nepal, a small South Asian country that boasts diversity in terms of caste, religion, race, color and language.
