Personal Branding Plan Destiny Williams MKT/421 Rebecca Robbins February 23rd, 2015 To make a personal branding plan you must first have a clear and precise understanding of what it means. Personal branding describes the process by which individuals differentiate themselves and stand out from a crowd. They do so by identifying their value, be it professional or personal. Personal branding helps individuals show off their expertise in their field, establish reputation, credibility and advance in their careers. Once you have created a reputation people will seek you out for the knowledge and expertise you hold. In this paper I will pitch my own personal brand by explaining what make me unique, three companies that I would like to work for, and how I plan to engage these companies to hire me. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Accounting, which will be completed in October of 2015. My plan there after is to further expand my educational background by completing my Masters in Accountancy. I now work as a Fiscal Accounts Clerk for the County of Riverside and have done so for the past 2 years. My experience level in reviewing, verifying, recording, adjusting and balancing financial transactions is intermediate, but I am continuing to expand my knowledge and skill level so that I can eventually become an accounting expert. I have no specific demographic job preference as I am willing to relocate for a job that provides me with everything that I am looking for. My resume also consists of over 5 years worth of clerical and customer service experience. Working face to face helping to satisfy the needs of customers has always been something that I have enjoyed doing.
