A Person Who Changed Your Life There have been many people in my life that I have looked up to over the years. But there is one person throughout my life that stands out threw them all and that person is my grandmother. My grandmother was the most important person in my life that I knew I could trust, and would never turn her back on me for any reason. There are numerous reasons why I looked up to her. She was strong, independent, courageous, family oriented, and patient. In this essay I will inform you about the many ways that she helped change my life. My grandmother always instilled in me the importance of being strong and independent. Although my grandmother and I didn’t get along a lot she always made sure that I was taken care of. She made sure that I had everything that I needed and everything that I wanted. She treated me as one of her own children. The only thing that she ever asked was for me to go to school and make something of myself. Although I was a kid and I hated school so I didn’t go, even though she kept stressing the situation to me.…show more content…
I had a hard life I got arrested drunk a lot and did pretty much anything that I wanted to do because I knew I could. It took me me to catch an assault charge and my grandmother come to court and tell them to keep me for me to turn my life around. At first, I never really understood why she did it but now I do. She did it because she loves me and she always wanted what was best for no matter what. I had to learn the hard way but I learned, and with my grandmother right by side. I came home did right and changed my life around. I wanted to make my grandmother proud, but more importantly I wanted to be proud of myself. My grandmother may have been hard on me, but at the end of the day I know that it was all in my best
