Perfect Day After watching Groundhog Day it has me thinking of how I would spend my perfect day. Phil’s perfect day was to spend it with Rita and have her finally falling in love with him. My perfect day isn’t as life changing as it was for Phil but each person has there only special meaning for have a perfect day. If I could chose to be anywhere in the world for a day, I would be 64 miles away in Block Island. To me Block Island is a second home and my favorite place to be, especial at Mansion Beach. I would start my day off waking up early and running on the beach and then getting breakfast at Bethany’s Airport Diner. I would be out on the island with all my friends and we would spend the long summer day at the beach. We would soak up the warm rays of sun and take on the massive waves the Atlantic creates. One activity I would do is parasailing. Parasailing is one thing I have always wanted to do but haven’t gotten the chance too, I would love to be many feet above the water and see the island in a different perspective. After parasailing, I would go to my family’s secret place on the island where you can look over most of the island from a huge hill, and watch the sunset. Then I would go out to dinner with all my friends at one of the many good restaurants Block Island has to offer. From then I would fly to New York and go to Madison Square Garden to see both John Mayer and Maroon 5 in concert. After the concert I would go backstage and meet both of them. From the concert I would head back to Block Island and finally call it a night. To have a perfect day you don’t need to have an extravagant day where you get all you ever wanted and could most likely not happen. For my day most of the events could actually happen. That’s how Phil and I are similar, we both don’t need to be greed and have a huge complicated day to be truly
