Thoughts, behavior, fashion, and music often have a deep impact on our society. People and teenagers in particular, tend to get influenced by the lifestyles of their peer group. It is a person’s tendency to do what the crowd does. Few individuals have the courage to resist the peer pressure and be their own selves rather than being one amongst a group but most of them fall into this kind of mess. The kind of people who are affected to peer-pressures are teenagers.Each teen to go through a period of time where they are under a lot of pressure especially from their own friends.Everything in this world has its pros and cons and so does peer pressure. In many cases, mostly teenagers gain negatives effects more than the positive ones. Hence, peer pressure brings negative effects on teenagers as it cultivates bad habits, instils bad decision-making and leads to loss of identity. Teens are likely to adopt a certain kind of lifestyle when under immense pressure. Some people are very much fortunate to live a luxurious lifestyle. Among a group of friends, there must be at least one of the members that live an ordinary lifestyle. In the case of peer pressure, the unfortunates would go to the extent where they are willing to sacrifice just to keep up with the rest of the group members. How can teens combat peer pressure? The convenient way of just saying no just doesn't work. Sure, it sounds good to say no but in reality, a person may want to say no, but just can't. Walking away and making up a story are a few very goo d ideas.
