Play time can also become a family experience which serves to bond family members together and allow adult members an opportunity to model healthy exercise habits for children. The bleeps are recorded in a series and each time the level is increased the bleep will sound different. I think this is helpful because it tells the pupils that they need to increase their pace slightly. How it works: Pupils should run a distance of 20 metres trying to keep within a recorded set of bleeps. The bleeps get closer together as you pass through the different stages. As stages pass, pupils will need to increase their running pace to keep in time with the bleeps.
Curriculum Model Position Paper Nate Burk Kinesiology 305 December 11, 2014 “A student-centered learning environment is characterized by high levels of student engagement and empowerment so that students become central to the learning process” (Richards & Levesque-Bristol, 2014). This would be my ideal setting for my physical education class. I want my students to inspire the curriculum, because if they are not interested in it or if it is not beneficial to them they will not benefit from my class. I will be an adapted physical education teacher so I could be working with children from the preschool level all the way up to high school. Having such a wide range of ages to work with will allow me to see the children
I also hope to learn many different types of dance and understand where they developed. I like to hope that this class will help me learn to be more fluent with my motions and that I will be able to achieve the basic concept rhythm. I hope that through dance I will be able to use it as a stress reliever and that my body will take well to the new adventure it is about to endure. I’d like to take away new skills from the class and be able to use them to achieve fluent dance movements and become one with my body. I am excited to see the way in which my mind and body will connect together as one.

This leads to an increase in the frequency as well as duration of the exercising in the long run.

In order to improve our strength and endurance we decided to try rock climbing. Not only does it require a significant amount of muscle, but also it is enjoyable and challenging. Our first goal was to take baby steps to achieving our goal, first meeting once a month, then continuing to increase our activity to once a week. We hoped that the more frequently we went and with the support and encouragement of our peers the better and stronger we would become. Our team hoped rock climbing would improve our overall physical fitness and ability to work as a team to achieve a goal that is beneficial for our future health.
