Just being in a quiet are, trying to “stretch it all out” and get rid of all the stress I have felt great. It was a great technique that was very relaxing, and especially easy. When I really just want to take out my anger or be alone, long boarding is the best medicine. Instead of getting mad at my parents or wanting to punch something, going for a joy ride feels amazing. It helps me stay fit and helps release the anger.
Music seems to also cheer me up. Listening to my favorite songs is an easy way to brighten up my day. In a tough situation, I would listen to music because it’s the most convenient way to relieve stress. I like the tennis strategy more, but it’s not always the best thing to get up and go outside. Listening to music can be done in any situation.
At (name of camp), the main focus of the camp is to create a bully free zone where everyone learns how to function within a functional community. As a group working together, life can be easier and sometimes even sweeter. Finding this emotional support will benefit the children throughout their lives. Learning how to be mature but still fun and young hearted is a must to stay healthy in EMS. Discipline, the ability to have complete self control over your actions and emotions not clouding your judgment, executing the task at hand. Many people lack discipline because its usually lacking within. Self-discipline is a trait that when properly used can make your life so much more enjoyable. You have control and the ability to push yourself and stay motivated.
Playing also helps a child socially by building confidence, it makes a child feel loved, happy and safe, develops language and communicating skills, it teaches them about caring for others and the world around them, develops physical skills and connects their pathways to their brain. A child will always love to play with their mother or father, but sometimes he might prefer to play by himself and won’t need so much hands on play from the adult. In parenting there are two different types of play; unstructured and structured. Unstructured or free play is the best type of play for a child because it depends on what the child is interested in at the time. Free play isn’t planned or structured.
Find the activity that you enjoy, and make it a part of your life. When you exercise your brain releases endorphins, these endorphins tend to minimise the discomfort of exercise, block the feeling of pain and are even associated with a feeling of euphoria. Keep learning. Learning new skills can give you a sense of achievement and a new confidence. So choose something you enjoy or wish to learn, like learning a instrument, take a course or learn a new skill.This will make you feel good about yourself and combat those feelings of worthlessness or fear.
We have recently received questions concerning our Free play activities and what it includes as well as why it is so important that we have Free Play on a daily basis – I have thought it good to write an article to our parents to inform every one of the importance of Free Play. Free Play as a word: Free Play is often misjudged as playing outside for fun – we as qualified Teachers know the importance of Free Play in a Child’s daily routine and the benefits for the young child such as not only relaxing and playing with friends but it develops the young child physically such as hop scotch learns the young child about balance and focus also developing the joints of the young child. Free Play helps the young child to create a play routine and a fantasy of Teacher-Teacher or House-House as the children often refer to and learning social skills in a sence of making friends and playing with them.
