Title: Past High school In High School my biggest challenge was finding a drive, a passion. Something that I could relate to. In High School I was having difficulty finding my own identity. I tried a computer graphics class and that didn’t end so well. I knew that wasn’t my passion, I became easily bored. So I tried my hands on the fashion classes that were offered in my high school. I was correct to choose such a wonderful class. I have to say that during the 4 years in high school that was the only thing keeping me going to school. I was happy for those 3 periods a day. Every time I sat on my chair, it felt like it was just me, the sewing machine, and patterns. Putting fabric pieces together would give me a rush. I have an active imagination and it was another way of expressing it. It was simple my form of art. I was convinced I had found my passion. More so, when we had to take part in the high school fashion shows. That was my moment, my time to shine for those few seconds. After ever show I was convinced, this is what I loved and wanted to do. Job After graduating from high school I was fortunate to find work in a major retail chain called “Old Navy”. Though I was young and inexperienced I was given the simple position of sales associate. I was thrilled because it was a familiar brand that I knew and was known to many. While working in Old Navy I felt unsatisfied. I knew my simple sale associate position was not going to get me anywhere, but I also knew that not many can get anywhere without a college education. Though the job did teach me the fundamentals of the fashion retail business, I chose not to settle for less, I wanted to do more. So I decided to give college a try and major in business management. I wanted to gain a passion for the business aspect just like I have for fashion. Present I decided to give college a try.
