When wizard students stay at the Russos' due to Wiz Tech being closed down, Ronald Longcape Jr. begins to develop feelings for her. Alex feels guilty when she thinks she's falling in love with Ronald. Ronald gets rid of Dean and then transforms into him as to break up with Alex so he can be with her. Ronald takes advantage of her and makes her evil like him and his father so that they can rule. Alex then reveals she's in love with Dean, so is transformed back.

However, part of this tragic death was brought upon by Friar Lawrence, their trusted friend and advisor. She is angry that Sara is avoiding her father, so she writes a nasty letter to the principal of the school where Sara is teaching, Hugo Seelig, in an effort to give her a bad reputation.
Although the substitute parents come across as loyal and caring, both the Nurse and Friar Laurence betray Romeo and Juliet in the end. After Juliet disobeys her parents' orders to marry the County, Juliet asks her Nurse to comfort her but instead, the Nurse advises Juliet to marry Paris saying that it is in her own best interest. Of course, Juliet is astounded that the Nurse would say such a thing after all she has done for her and Romeo. Also, when Juliet wakes in the tomb to Friar Laurence after taking the potion only to discover that Romeo is dead, Friar Laurence exclaims, "I dare no longer stay," and runs away leaving Juliet alone in a tomb with a recently murdered Paris and several other dead and decaying bodies. Myrtle wishes she was in the place of Daisy and wishes to escape to the ‘Egg’. She breaks down and cries when she finds out George borrowed the suit he wore to the wedding, which shows her wish to be married to a rich man. This is one of the reasons she has an affair with Tom Buchanan, the other being that she just wanted to have fun “ You can’t live for ever” is the way she puts it. Myrtle doesn’t treat George with any respect, when Tom is with them she is “walking through her husband as if he were a ghost”. She also states that she “made a mistake when she married him”.
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet tells the tale of how two teenagers, Romeo and Juliet, from feuding Italian families fell in love. Their unlikely meeting at a ball led to their eventual marriage, and, ultimately, to their death. Although it was an extreme crisis to both families, the demise of romeo and Juliet provided a new opportunity for the ending of a century-old feud. The families, having realized that their mutual hate was pointless after it brought forth the death of their children, decided to reconcile and to end their feud. The catalyst to this great decision was, of course, a catastrophe.
