Parents rummaging through their teens’ social media accounts may do more harm than good as it shows no trust. There are better ways to for parents to stay connected and help keep their kids safe. In the article “Should parents snoop on their kids online?” written by Eliene Augenbraun, she quoted Caroline Knorr, a parenting editor at Common Sense Media, who said “Kids know technology better than their parents do. If you rely on technology to monitor your kids or prevent them from engaging in online risks you are getting a false sense of security.” And this is very true. Comparison-contrast essay on the perspectives of Neil Postman and Thomas Friedman on technology in education. Technology with out a doubt has impacted education in a major way, from the way we go to school to the way we are taught. Some would say this is a good thing and others would disagree. Neil Postman's opinion on the matter would show how technology can negatively impact education leaving gaps in learning however, someone such as Thomas Friedman would disagree stating that he views technology as a revolutionary tool to education that will undoubtedly make it better. Could technology hurt education or, is technology the revolution to education?
(197, par. 7). What Jones is trying to explain is that children are taught by their parents to feel positive at all times. In childhood we are told to not watch violent cartoons or listen to violent music such as rap or metal. Parents believe that this type of exposure can led us to be angry and full of negative emotions.
All teens should have a chance to be involved with others in a positive way, and without community groups going out and searching for them, its not going to happen. It is sad to me that people in control who have the opportunity to change lives of young people would rather let them go about their lives rather than coming around them and leading them in the right path.Teens need role models in their lives, and when adults disown them, then they feel worthless. Good role models set positive examples for teenagers and help counter negative influences they meet during teenage years. It is common for teenagers to view movie stars, sports figures, singers and TV actors as role models. While entertainment figures can serve as positive influences, teenagers gain greater influence from role models they can communicate and form relationships with.
Ludden uses a serious and factual tone towards her audience and reader’s to try and convince them on how to decrease the use of technology within teens. After reading the article, I have come to realize that teen only use their cell phones for the latest gossip going around or for social media, but sometimes there are ways teens find their cell phones to be useful in their lives. One reason is that teens find it easier to get their work done by using their cell phones to communicate with their friends to get what the missed out on. For example, contacting a friend or classmate to get the latest homework assignments when they are sick or just what the teacher had explained is how teens find their cell phones being useful in their everyday life. Additionally, sometimes it could be a good thing to find out the rumors or gossip going around because it could be about them or one of their friends.

He states that it is important for children to use creativity to form their identity, expressing their thoughts with their personal individuality.
He advises the reader to learn the same skill sets early on in life so that they can take advantage of the opportunities in front of them. Twain makes fun of the parents’ false sense of control of their children. Twain explains how kids really act, and when they should obey their parents. He states “[always] obey your parents, when theyare present (291).Twain is not telling kids to disobey their parents. He is telling parents when their children are alone they don’t always follow the rules.
Sexting has caused embarrassment and humiliation to other young adults because it seems like a game to others to expose other people through texting. Many people took advantage of a lot of things in life which made life easier to live. Opportunities that we get in life, leads us to challenges and obstacles that we think we cannot overcome but yet there is always a way to solve it. Those strategies might give us some extra free time and keep us away from hurt ours brain by stress. Even thought, technology can be use to have access to information and helps students to develop skills, if we don’t take control of it, can be very dangerous. So, take control over technology can be the first strategy to not get hurt from it. In this case we should turn off the phone, disable de internet, turn off the music and go back to the first strategy, which is get focus, and do the priority. In conclusion the first step for overcoming the technology’s stimulation and multitasking is get focus and set priorities and get them done first.
Advocates of this amendment such as American Civil Liberties Union said if it was passed it would “allow the school to dictate how, when and where they could pray.” This is true, because the school would have some control over when they could have their prayer sessions. This could also anger many parents, who think that their child should be able to pray at any moment or time. That said, I think this amendment would cause even more conflict between school and religion, because it would open up opportunities for the parents to change the normal school schedule and fit in time for prayers. That would
